Katie Campbell is a graduate from the University of Western Ontario and holds a B.A in Sociology. She is a long time lover of movement, dance, and sport, such as gymnastics, basketball & soccer. It’s no surprise that her lifetime evolution has continued to evolve into the practice of Hatha yoga. Finding yoga at the young age of 18, & deciding that she consciously wanted to heal her anxiety, she decided to commit herself fully to the practice. She ventured to HK in 2006 after graduatng from UWO and her world of yoga, meditation, crystals and healing expanded tenfold. She yearned for higher meanings, truth and desired to create a life of abundance, joy and inspiration! She received her Yoga teacher training in 2008 in the Berkshires of MA. She is a 200 hr Kripalu Yoga teacher and is currently completing her 500hr Yoga Teacher Training with Kripalu. Once her love of yoga took off, she immersed herself for the years that followed and flowed with the synchronicity’s that life revealed. This brought her so much joy, optimism, and self fulfillment studying practices such as Thai Yoga massage, Craniosacral therapy, Reiki, Angel Practitioner courses & movement therapies including YogaDance, and Zumba.
She blends her knowledge of Dance, with the Healing Arts & Yoga for an uplifting, self-fulfilling and energetic yoga class. She offers a compassionate, meditative Kripalu style combined with her Prana Flow Yoga teacher training adding a sense of fluidity and depth to the practice. Katie transmutes the divine feminine to her students yet upholds the virtue of strength and softening to bring balance to her classes. She offers a style of yoga all her own and continues to practice as a beginner while challenging herself to her fullest! She is passionate, deliberate and focused on bringing out the best in others and hopes to uplift, inspire others and cherish all that her teachers have shared with her and offer this back to her students. Katie holds her teachers such as Shiva Rea, Randal Williams, & Jonas Westring with the highest regard and gratitude. She now facilitates yoga classes to adults and children alike and offers Thai Yoga massage workshops across ON, Canada and MA, U.S.A. She often assists 200hr Yoga Teacher Trainings across ON and the U.S.A including Kripalu 200hr YTT’s, as well as offers retreats in exotic locations such as Costa Rica.
